Prenatal Care
Your prenatal care will begin with an initial visit in the comfort of your home or at the office between 10-12 weeks. After that , you'll have appointments at the office every 4-5 weeks until the third trimester, every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, and then weekly until your baby is born.
You will receive personalized care throughout your pregnancy, include routine check-ups, monitoring your baby's development, and preparing for a healthy birth.

Labor + Birth
Our labor and birth services provide personalized, compassionate care in the comfort of your home. As your midwife, we will provide phone support during early labor and in-person support throughout active labor until several hours after birth. We will provide regular, unobtrusive monitoring of you and your baby while ensuring a safe, empowering birth experience.
From early labor to birth, we will be there to honor your birth preferences and create a calm, nurturing environment for you and your family.

Postpartum Support
Our postpartum services offer comprehensive care and support for you and your baby after birth. We provide in-home and office visits to monitor your recovery, assist with breastfeeding/chestfeeding, and ensure your baby is thriving.
During these visits, we address any physical or emotional needs you may have, offering guidance and resources to support your transition into parenthood/adding to your family. We aim to help you feel confident and cared for during this special time.

Newborn Care
Our newborn services include immediate, gentle care for your baby following birth. We provide thorough newborn assessments, monitor vital signs, and support the baby's transition to life outside the womb.
Services also include breastfeeding/chestfeeding assistance, vitamin K and eye ointment administration, newborn screenings, and ongoing monitoring during the postpartum period to ensure your baby's healthy start. We also help you file your baby's birth certificate and social security card.

Home birth is safe for individuals with low-risk pregnancies an who are under the care of a qualified midwife. Studies show hat planned homebirths with skilled midwives can have positive outcomes, similar to hospital births for low-risk pregnancies.
As a Certified Nurse Midwife, I closely monitor both you and your baby throughout pregnancy and labor to ensure safety. In the rare event that complications arise, we have a plan in place for transferring to a hospital. Your safety and well-being are always our top priority.

You have the freedom to choose who attends your home birth. This can include your partner, family members, friends, doula, or other support people who help you feel comfortable and supported.
I will be there as your midwife, along with any necessary birth assistants and/or student. It's important to create an environment where you feel safe and empowered, so you can decide who will be part of your birth team.

Hiring a doula can aid in pain management as they can provide hands-on support to help you cope with the waves of labor.
While medication and epidurals are not available at home, manty people find these natural methods effective and empowering. We'll discuss your preferences ahead of time to create a personalized plan for your comfort.
